These are beautiful. It looks like you're doing reduction and addition. The color adds some nice depth but I think the black and white is my favorite.

These are so neat! Any particular inspiration for this? Not sure I've seen anything like it before!

Mike, Thanks for the compliment; you nailed the approach. It's just the scratchboard tool in painter erased out of. And the color was to make sure everyone else could see what I was seeing in them.

Desiree, Thanks so much! I'm new at the environment stuff so its good to hear what I'm trying is working. :]

Jessica! I've noticed I keep wanting to add waterfalls to everything so I figured i would try and get them out of my system with some environment sketches. To my own surprise I actually did all of them from my head I only looked up a picture to get an idea of how to color the last one. Once I finished them though they reminded me of Hans Bacher's book "Dream Worlds." (miss you :P)

Hi there! These waterfalls are really great! I love the surroundings and even though you didn't use lots of lines to draw the water, there's still lots of movement (hmmm did that make sense haha). I love how you made the water flow over the rocks! Nicely done!

These are really excellent - full of life, with a real flourish. Bold, strong, clean, clear, good composition. And beautifully coloured to add another level as well. Great. Do more like this - you have a real feel for it
