Went to Indiana over the weekend, here are some sketches from the trip.

100 Silhouettes

My First attempt at silhouettes! I decided I wanted to take a crack at concepting and so far I really like it. These are based on the "Emperor's New Clothing." So here are a hundred little emperors. I learned a lot trying to push myself through so many of these guys.

Kline Academy results

Went to Kline Academy for a costume night. The more I draw, the more I want to draw.

LA Zoo again

LA Zoo Sketchin

What I really love about drawing from life is the same thing that frustrates me, the Challenge! This is EVERYTHING I drew today, nothing has been excluded.
The most challenging animal for me today were the tigers. But watching one play with a keg made my sketching much more enjoyable despite my hardships.

Mazda Dealership / Echo Park

LA ZOO

What a day, up at 7 to get an oil change, then straight to Echo park followed by a quick zoo trip all the while drawing my various destinations. Could my day have gotten better...? Only if I remembered to get a strawberry lemonade.
Had an amazing time today and met some great new friends and possibly some future zoo buddies :]

Catch 22

Great Birthday!!!

Played Street Fighter IV while producing a miniature army of cupcakes, went to one of the best parties I've ever been to with a blend of the coolest people I've ever met. Stood on the roof of a four story building and watched fireworks in a 270 degree view. Life is good. :D
