Graphic Iconic Animal Designs

Graphic Iconic Animals for Intro to Character Design w/ David Colman

Goose is a femme fatale, Ferret is a Napoleonic complex suffering manic detective who is constantly at odds with himself both wanting to eat Goose but needing the reward for her case, and Elephant is a spiky quick witted British sounding Indian Elephant sidekick, the Watson to Ferrets Holmes.

Here are some of the process sketches that led up to the final designs.

Hi Kendra,

Every time I go through your blog, I can imagine you having mechanical arms and hands, just drawing away at full speed. The expression on your face showing pure awe and fascination. Great work wild-sketcher-with-robotic-arms!!!!
