Gallery Girls: Cowgirls + Indians

I went to the downtown late nite drawing salon again. Used color pencil, watercolor, and my pentel ink brush. Found out my printer paper doesn't take watercolor all too well. Not that it crinkles, just that the fibers absorb color a bit strangely. The color either sits on the surface or becomes fused with the paper fibers. I'm going to have to take a cue from Glenn and try out one of those watercolor block things. :]

Another great post. I still can't believe how fast you are. Great work!

I find a good cheapo paper is the 100lb 'cover stock'. If you're planning to burn through a lot of paper on quick sketches - it's a bit sized (not as much as a color copy paper, but enough). Resists paint absorbing a bit - but still cheap enough to waste it happily!

GGirls are up here in SF this weekend! Can't wait :)
