Drawing Club: Lautrec - Moulin Rouge

I've become spoiled by the colors I added on the past two themes so I wanted to color this one as well. And I even threw in a fun texture. Here are sketches inspired by the lovely Stacey Jack

Thanks everyone for all the incredibly sweet words! Can't tell you enough how much I appreciate it

Ramona: Color was all done in Photoshop with basic blocking in. Maximum 2 values for each color; one for light, one for shadow. Then put a pretty Chinese pattern texture over top. Oh and I took my original line of a Red Col-Erase and Ebony pencil and colorized it to fit better with each girls color palette. Thanks for your question! :]

Megan: Thanks, and it was great seeing you too, so glad you could make it out!

Really nice reinterpretations of the model, Kendra. Sorry I couldn't make the Sketchcrawl. Maybe next time.

John: Thanks so much, I still can't believe you whipped out those paints! you're a brave man. I really admire the way you handle faces and expressions. No worries about SketchCrawl, I'm sure one will line up with your schedule sooner or later. Hope to see you soon
