These are gorgeous! I love how free your drawing is yet it comes out so beautiful! Sometimes I try to do that, and it doesn't work so well. Anyway, I'm always excited for your drawing updates.
Kendra, I love that middle sketch. Wow. I was wondering, who are your influences? What cartoons/shows did you watch when you were younger that you couldn't get enough of?
Hi Kendra, Sorry for my late answer and thanks for your kind words. Really like your sketches, especially the "Wizard" ones! You do great job, there are a lot of interestig stuffs here. Thanks again!
Tuna: I'm down for taking a class sometime shoot me an email :]
Mo: Hmmm... Favorites growing up. One of my favorite videos growing up was Rikki Tikki Tavi. I didn't realize until recently it was a Chuck Jones product, makes me wish I watched more Warner Bros as a kid. I also really liked the white seal and Grinch. Also like every kid from my generation, I watched a LOT of Disney, old and new. Primarily because you could keep playing them over and over, yay VHS. But my favorites were old, I remember the ones I wore completely out were Robin Hood and The Sword in the Stone. I also watched a lot of the old Disney live action stuff; again Robin Hood my fav, I have an affinity for that story, ie: also love Robin Hood Men in Tights. Watched a lot of little rascals, Rankin/Bass, and would get up at 5/6 am to watch Mister Wizard. And I think a bit of my love for Fern Gully came out in these, but I doubt they resemble the characters much. We should discuss this more later, I want to know yours!!!
